Nibbles doesn't know about the device, the jumps, or the growing distance between who Megan used to be and who she's becoming. He just knows a wheel, a water bottle, and whether or not someone remembered to fill it. For a long stretch of Book 3, that's a harder question than it should be.
He's since been moved out of the dorm and into The Warehouse—closer to Megan now, on the days she remembers to look up from the work long enough to notice him.
